Attention: I’m blogging more often

As you probably already know if you’re reading this, I’ve been posting quite a bit more frequently during the last week or two. I’ve made a conscious and concerted effort to put together a few posts a week. Part of that is a desire to communicate in a longer form than tweets or facebook status updates. But most of it is preparatory.

I’ve been toying with the idea of publishing a national park roadtrip blog for nearly a year now. If I do it, I want to put in enough energy to give it a shot at success. But that’s going to require more dedication than I’ve given my existing sites. And thus, the “post more frequently on blogs I already have” strategy that I’ve recently been employing.

I figure that if I can maintain a minimal level of activity on my own site, I might actually do it on the national park roadtrip blog.  :)

And on that note, I’m headed off for my winter national park roadtrip and may not post here until we return. If you want to follow along, check out scottandkimmie.com/blog or my twitter feed for updates.

I have wanting to start RVing more regularly again. If you do the National Park Road Trip Blog.. Would be awesome to allow others to contribute. Include State Parks too. Arizona is awesome for State/National Parks.

Looking forward to following the adventures and getting good ideas of where to go next.

Hi Derek, thanks for commenting. My vision for the blog would definitely allow for guest writers, and while my focus is on the National Park System, we often incorporate other state parks and historical sites into our trips, along with a healthy number of traditional roadside oddity stops. I’d include those places in that spirit.

I’ve never done the RV thing (but it’s on my 101 things list), so let me know if you find yourself heading out with a spare bunk. :)
