I’ve never been to the state parks in Yuma. Who wants to join me on a weekend daytrip to see ‘em before the territorial prison closes?

I agree, Derek. I wish I would have spent more time at some of these places over the years, and I hope that each has a cadre of volunteers to watch over them while Arizona gets its act together.

This topic makes me physically ill. I just hope that I live to see them reopened and they are not too badly damaged/vandalized in the interim. Such a sad, sad, sad day for Arizona.
