Web projects

Those who know me know that I’m always working on a few web projects. Here’s a quick rundown of some of the stuff that’s currently wasting my free time, as well as a few of things I’ve done in the past.

Current projects:

GoDevils.org, a collaborative fan site dedicated to Arizona State football.

Friends of the Agua Fria National Monument, a leading advocacy and service organization for Agua Fria National Monument in central Arizona.

Friends of Ironwood Forest, a relatively-new friends group for Ironwood Forest National Monument near Tucson.

Sonoran Desert Friends, a newly-forming friends group for Sonoran Desert National Monument, southwest of Phoenix.

NLCS Friends, a site to help connect “Friends” groups of NLCS units.

Arizona Activist Support Center, aka azActivist.org, free web hosting and consulting for more than 70 progressive candidates, organizations, and issue campaigns since 2001.

Past Projects:

I worked on several projects under the azActivist.org umbrella, including:

  • azNews.org, an aggregator for progressive blogs here in Arizona.
  • azCalendar.org, an aggregator for progressive events in Arizona.
  • azDirectory.org, a directory of progressive organizations and individuals in Arizona
  • azEnvironment.org, a collaborative blog on environmental issues here in Arizona.

azvoteno.org, the website for the Defend Arizona’s Democracy campaign, an effort to defeat severa; bad ballot initiatives during the 2004 election cycle.

azadvocacy.org, the website for the Arizona Advocacy Network Foundation, an progressive umbrella organization.

azleadership.org, the website of the Arizona Leadership Institute, a progressive labor organization that merged with AzAN.

RegisterGreen.org, a site supporting the re-registration of progressives into the Green Party.

asugreens.org, the website for the ASU chapter of Campus Greens.

maricopagreens.org, the website for the Green Party of Maricopa County.

azgp.org, the website for the Arizona Green Party.

asupa.org, the website for the ASU Progressive Alliance, a coalition of progressive student organizations at ASU.
